A VISIT WITH MY DAUGHTER:

Hello Friends!

I hope you have a great Mothers' Day weekend, accompanied by fine weather.

Today we had a fun time with, first, a visit to the Museum of Natural History. Here we viewed the largest replica of a T-Rex dinosaur. It was impressive, compete with a frightening growl. I'm glad we don't have to worry about meeting such creatures live.
After this, we enjoyed a delightful lunch at the Just Us Cafe. We had a delicately-flavored,  curried butternut squash soup with a yummy molten cherry-chocolate flourless cake, as well as tea.  I am a celiac and therefore it is most delightful to find rare gluten free treats.

Driving home, we were thrilled to see forsythia bushes in full and glorious bloom, colourful tulips, daffodils, green grass, sparkling blue water and clear blue skies. I Thank God for such a warm,  glorious spring day after a long winter!.., It was so lovely and such a wonderful spring tonic!

All the while we discussed the joys of planning various ways to share my new book, Dark Cloud of The Morning , with as many of you dear folks as we are able.

I would love to hear from you, kindly leave a comment.

God bless you all,

Janet C.Burrill

P.S. Here are two lovely comments from my daughters blog @ http://theplumedpen.blogspot.com

Happy Mother's Day to a most creative lady and an ambitious one! With your beauty, one would never guess your age, but maybe being so active is your secret to youthful looks! My own parents are very active and are 91 and 94. I will be anxious to tell them about you and your new book. Being a senior citizen myself, it is so refreshing to see someone older than myself able to accomplish a life-long dream. You are definitely an inspiration to each of us, regardless of age!! Congratulations on your new book being published!

Congradulations on your success. Well done! Looking forward to the sequel.
Disappointed that we were unable to share Easter dinner at Wanda's. I am looking forward to seeing you, my next visit.

Blessings,
Pam
